Rain, Rain & more Rain..

Wooow…seems like god has read my previous post and its raining cats and dogs in Hyderabad. Cyclones seems to have heard the prayers of the farmers and the roads are flooded. The happiest lot seems to comprise me and the farmers with this timely and relieving rains but it has brought its own share of woes to some . People can hardly get out of the house. But I’mnt complaining.

For the past few days I’ve been doing some work too…Finished a part of my assignment , started editing my class farewell video which i intend to deliver it at the gettogether.

Oops almost forgot to mention that a couple of my friends and I have decided to organize a gettogether for our class this coming saturday and that kept me busy for a couple of days. Have been calling all my classmates .Well these calls seemed to have therapeutic effect on me. It was such a nice feeling talking to them after a gap of one year and surprisingly we still enjoy the same kind of camarederie. Most of them have settled down with their jobs/M.Tech/M.S/M.B.A though a handful of them are still in search of their destiny.

Another exciting that happened was my dad finally bought a car . It’s a Hyundai Accent. He wanted to buy it for me since long( courtesy my IIT admit and I just cant tell you in words how much IIT means to him ..I’ll write about that sometime later ) .. but then my dad’s a lawyer and somehow all the banks seem to have some kinda animosity towards lawyers and the loan processing got stuck at some stage or the other . Finally HDFC called us and processed the whole thing in less than 3 days and finally I get to drive it home yesterday. HDFC rocks .

And the car is a-w-e-s-o-m-e . Its so smooth and sexy that you don’t feel like stopping and getting out of it and driving it when its raining like hell outside ..makes the ride wholesome …I felt so gooood that I literally wished “Dad should’ve owned a petrol bunk ….or atleast I hope that my prospective father-in-law owns one

So sad that I cant enjoy it for more than 2 weeks coz after that I’m gonna pack my things and leave for delhi and to make up for the less time I get to spend with it ..I intend to hit the road as much as I can.

For now…signing off to test my accent on the less-busy-but-horrible roads…
