What to do ???
What to do ???
I'm always left wondering as to what the companies look for in the students coz in most of the cases the deserved candidates dont get what they really deserve and the underdogs walk away with a plump share of the placements.
Do i need to work hard and see that I've a very good CGPA ?? Do i need to give more presentations ?? Do i need to do more projects ?? Will these ensure decent placements or do i need to do anything more ?? Well in marketing terms ...How i do create product differentiation for myself among other products(my classmates) in the consumer.
And incidentally our class alumni committee arranged an "Alumni Speaks" event which was basically aimed at dealing with the queries of our seniors who've their placements. It was great ...the best part of the event was the food :D .
Jokes apart there were people who passed out 3-4 years back who were doing good in their respective industries and had lots of gyaan to share with us who were gearing up for the big day. I expected lot of my above queries to be addressed and they were did. Now the inputs i got from them left me even more confused but somehow on more personal interactions with them gave me the clear picture. I've understood what really matters and what doesnt. But that aint as easy as it seems to achieve.
Right now have some plans but then like all other plans they hardly seem to materialise. Hope I get enough perseverance and guidance to achieve them.
Almost forgot...We got our much-awaited (donno why) Visiting Cards today...pretty decent and nothing flashy about it. But now that I've my visiting cards, I'm finding it hard to find reasons and people to whom i can flash my visiting card :D ( you may ask then why have it in the first place??...Well to be frank even I share the same view but then you never know when you need to flash it out )
So, i thought my blog should be the first recipient of the honour and so ...here it is :D
